Project 2 is almost here!

Today Dr. George Pacheco and Brian Beck will go dip into the last batch of donated/cannibalized computers for the upcoming TexOS Project 2 . We have a number of parts from computers, plus a few left over from last event, to piece together the lab of 12 computers we will be donating soon.

The application process is underway via our non-profits we are working with. At the end of next week we will go through and select the participants for the class.

Because this event will deplete our last batch of computers, we plan on having a city wide spring computer drive. We hope to get enough working computers to install Open Source Software on and push back to other non-profits as well as needy individuals in the San Angelo community.
